Townsville - Tropical North Queensland - is a major city with a relaxed lifestyle. We are four and a half hours from Cairns with the Great Barrier Reef; Magnetic Island and other attractions all easily accessable from Townsville.

We are seeking full time General Practitioners (VR or Non VR) (more than one vacancy). Normal working hours will be 8:30am - 5:06pm Mon - Fri and (rotating roster) Saturday mornings 8:30am - 12:30pm.

Salary packaging is available including the option of a percentage of Medicare generated income.
This is a 'bulk billing' practice and our patient demographic is broad with both Indigenous and Non-indigenous.

TAIHS is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled health service operating as a group practice. This practice has operated since 1975 and is located in modern purpose built and well appointed premises. With services provided by general practitioners, allied health professionals, a mental health team including a psychologist, fully trained team of nurses and health workers. There are maternal and child, eye and dental health units, we provide holist health and wellbeing care as well as a range of social services. We currently have 3 full-time GPs.
