Go Rural is supported by the Australian Government and delivered by the national network of Rural Workforce Agencies. Health Workforce Queensland delivers this event for medical, nursing and allied health students.
This event showcases the rewards of a rural lifestyle and provides hands-on skill development sessions. Attendees will rotate through five skill stations facilitated by leading health professions with topics including, vascular access, rural paramedicine, advanced life support, suturing, and allied health.
Students will also hear from guest speakers, including a discussion about career development pathways and opportunities in rural Queensland communities.
