About the position and practice:
This is a dual position with a Queensland health position as well as being employed by in a private General Practice with a total yearly income of over $200,000.
This is a mixed billing, training practice, where Registrars are encouraged and supported to Learn and develop their skills in general practice.
The Position meets RACGP’s diversity of practice requirements, so moving General Practice is not necessary during your training, and the variety of work means that you will never be bored.
The Practice Principle and Primary Supervisor Dr Cameron Hoare is a supervisor for both ACRRM and RACGP and aims to provide a happy welcoming work environment.
You will have access to an onsite supervisor during your training, both in the General Practice and Queensland health position.
Due to being remote and a dual role, this job has several advantages, including, reduced moratorium, accommodation, and a salary with PDL from QLD health for the QLD health part of the position.

The town supports families with St Joseph's Catholic School which is Catholic primary and secondary (Prep-9) school for boys and girls as well as a state schools for primary and secondary (Prep-12) for boys and girls. They hold many special social events in the community throughout the year for the family to enjoy.
Cloncurry is situated in the north-west of Queensland and it is an 1 hour, 15 minutes drive from Mt Isa and 770 kilometres west of the city of Townsville via the Flinders Highway. The town lies adjacent to the Cloncurry River. Cattle grazing is the significant industry in the region.
