General Practitioner - Full-Time - Gladstone, Queensland

Position Highlights:

• Attractive billings-based remuneration with 50–70% revenue share (based on experience and qualifications) 

• Minimum guaranteed income of $250,000 to $300,000, depending on experience

Practice Information:
This well-established medical centre is conveniently located within a busy shopping precinct in Kirkwood, providing easy access for patients. The clinic offers a broad range of services to the community, including men’s and women’s health, sexual health, mental health support, and onsite pathology collection. Appointments are generally available on the same day, with walk-in appointments accommodated where possible. The practice is supported by a team of experienced nurses and reception staff, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care. This is a mixed billing practice

Position Description: 

• Provide a range of health services from prevention of illness through to treatment and rehabilitation

• Medical diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, endocrine and metabolic, renal diseases

• Documentation-medico legal, antenatal, insurance

• X-ray and skills of cannulation, catheterisation and fluid management are important

• Ability to read ECG, CT scan surgical and gynaecology procedure - suturing lacerations, Incision and drainage of abscess, excision of skin lesions, contraception, pap smears etc

• Procedural tasks- Vaccination, ECG interpretation, pulmonary, audiometry

• Record and maintain accurate, adequate and relevant patient records system, including details of Specialist referrals, Previous health and family history & Investigations

• Treatment, diagnostic results 

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification 

• Completion of suitable internship and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in General Practice

• A current APHRA Registration with no restrictions will be an advantage
