Practice Information:
This practice is an established custom-built practice. There are 7 consulting rooms, 3 treatment rooms, a computerised clinical and booking system, using Best Practice software and a pathology collection centre within the practice (SNP). All equipment is provided with excellent nursing support and administration staff. This clinic provides health care to the local Roma area as well as the wider rural community.
They cover all aspects of General Practice including but not limited to the following: Men's and Women's Health, Family Planning, Vaccinations, Spirometry, Minor Surgery, Skin Cancer care & Skin Checks, Cryotherapy, Excisions, Chronic Condition Management Plans, Audiology ECG's, Preventative Care, Childhood immunisations and Workplace Medicals.
Position Description:
The General Practitioner (GP) provides comprehensive primary healthcare services to individuals and families within a rural community setting. The GP plays a vital role in delivering accessible, high-quality medical care to patients aged between 0-104. The position involves being able to diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic conditions and delivering patient cantered care.
Position Requirements:
Registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia
(AHPRA) with a minimum of 3 years medical work experience
Current medical indemnity insurance
Current CPR certificate
After Hours Requirements:
Yes - On call 1 night a week and 1 weekend in every 5.
