This multidisciplinary mental health and social and emotional wellbeing service provides culturally safe, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care with a strong focus on supporting First Nations peoples and communities. The service operates across regional, remote and very remote Queensland locations and is committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic services while supporting clinician wellbeing and professional growth.

Position Description
This role involves providing therapy services across a variety of referral types and programs for children, adolescents and adults.
Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individual and group-based therapeutic counselling and healing services.

• Providing therapeutic services through face-to-face, outreach and telehealth delivery models.

• Undertaking assessments, care planning, care reviews, report writing and therapeutic interventions.

• Working collaboratively with consumers, carers, communities and service providers to deliver culturally appropriate and responsive services.

• Managing a caseload within a supported multidisciplinary team environment.

• Participating in quality improvement activities and maintaining high professional standards.

• Building effective partnerships with stakeholders to support positive client outcomes.

Position Requirements

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, Provisional Psychologist or Occupational Therapist (Mental Health/Better Access endorsed), or accreditation as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW).

• Current AHPRA or AASW registration.

• Current driver's licence.

• Willingness to complete pre-employment screening, including Criminal History, Blue Card and Queensland Disability Worker Screening/NDIS Worker Screening requirements.

• Experience working with, or willingness to engage and work with, First Nations families and communities.
