Use your podiatry skills where they will have the greatest impact. Relocate to Longreach, Queensland and join their welcoming and supportive Allied Health team. You will become part of a well-established multidisciplinary allied health service, working alongside experienced clinicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to rural and remote communities.
Position Description:
This role includes regular outreach travel to surrounding communities, with occasional overnight stays depending on service needs. Travel is completed in a work vehicle, with driving undertaken during work hours wherever possible. Where after-hours travel is required, time in lieu is provided in accordance with organisational policy. Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of Podiatry conditions
Deliver diabetic foot care and manage chronic health conditions including rheumatoid arthritis and peripheral vascular disease
Provide education that empowers clients to take control of their health
Collaborate with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, and support services
Provide outreach services across regional and remote communities, travelling by fleet vehicle with travel, accommodation and meals covered by the organisation
Essential Position Requirements:
Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain registration)
Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent qualification
Current unrestricted Australian C Class Driver's Licence
Full Australian working rights
