Mixed Billing Practice. A group of 3 practices all based on Bribie Island.

They are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to be a part of their friendly team of 5 Doctors, receptionists and nursing staff.

Position Description:
In this new role you will be working within the clinic as a general practice nurse but also conducting in-clinic and home based Health Assessments for over 75 patients and participation in COVID Vaccination clinics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Wound management

• Vaccinations

• Adult & Babies

• Handling Emergencies & Triage

• Procedures including Venesection’s and Biopsies

• ECG and Spirometry

• Ear Syringing

• Sterilisation of instruments

• Health Management including health assessment’s (in and out of clinic)

• Preparing kits/trolley's for minor surgical procedures

• *Covid Vaccination Clinics · Inventory and Stock Management

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have:

• Previous practice nurse experience in a GP practice

• A good working knowledge of Windows, MS Office.

• Experience with Best Practice 

• Previous accreditation experience will be an advantage.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• High level interpersonal skills to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals.

• Passion for your role to take pride in seeing the service grow and be successful.

• Able to commit to required hours.

• Nursing Working with children check
