GROW Rural Central Queensland - Application Rounds Closed
Health Workforce Queensland would like to advise that application rounds for the GROW Rural Central Queensland program are closed due to recent changes to the GROW Rural model which have seen GROW Rural transition from a rural immersion program into a comprehensive end-to-end health workforce solution program.
This transition reflects Health Workforce Queensland’s commitment to increase rural health workforce capacity by working alongside GROW Rural communities to create structured pathways into employment for GROW Rural early career graduates.
Health Workforce Queensland is currently delivering GROW Rural as a workforce solution program in North Queensland and South West Queensland. Health students interested in being part of GROW Rural need to apply in their first year of study in the following intake years:
GROW Rural North Queensland: Intake year 2025
GROW Rural South West Queensland: Intake year 2026
