Exercise Physiologist – Part-Time - Nanango, Queensland.

Practice Information:
This community-based, interprofessional allied health practice delivering bulk-billed and NDIS-funded services to the South Burnett region. They provide psychology, occupational therapy, and exercise physiology services, offering both individual consultations and group programs. The practice operates as part of a wider health and fitness hub, with the advertised Exercise Physiology position located within a gym. This site is fully equipped with a modern gym and functional training spaces, providing an excellent environment for clinical exercise prescription, rehabilitation, and group program delivery. This supportive, family-oriented practice offers flexible work arrangements. The group practice offers administrative and reception support, ensuring clinicians can focus on providing quality care.
Services offered include:
Medicare and Bulk-Billing Services (e.g. Chronic Disease Management plans)
NDIS Therapeutic Supports (individual and group sessions)

Position Description:
This practice is seeking a motivated and client-focused Exercise Physiologist to join their interprofessional allied health team. The Exercise Physiologist will work with a diverse caseload, including Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover, DVA, private clients, and community health programs. You will deliver evidence-based exercise interventions to support clients with chronic disease management, injury rehabilitation, disability support, preventative health, and overall wellbeing. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible overseas applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual assessments and tailored exercise programs for clients with chronic conditions, injuries, or disabilities.
Deliver Pre-Employment Functional Assessments and prepare professional reports.
Conduct group exercise and health programs where appropriate.
Work collaboratively with psychologists, occupational therapists, GPs, and other health professionals.
Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with Medicare, NDIS, and other reporting requirements.
Promote healthy lifestyle and preventative health strategies in the community.
Essential Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology.
Current ESSA accreditation (or eligibility).
Current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Eligibility for Medicare Provider Number.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centred approach. Desirable Experience with NDIS clients and multidisciplinary team environments.
Previous experience in rural or regional practice.
