The Organisation:
This Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service operates a growing network of healthcare clinics for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Their model of care provides holistic health and wellbeing services to support the Community across their lifespan. They bring together primary care, allied health, dental, mental health and wellbeing, maternity and early childhood, disability services, specialist services, and aged care as one team focused on clients’ individual needs and goals.
They are an integrated team working together to improve the health and wellbeing of the Community. Their network is growing across Caboolture, Morayfield, Strathpine, Deception Bay, and Margate – now there’s an opportunity for you to be part of a great team making a real difference in people’s lives.
The Role:
This GP role is different to most, as the health service offers a unique way of working and sought-after benefits. They have exciting opportunities available across their five clinic locations, including Caboolture, Deception Bay, Margate, Morayfield, and Strathpine.
Your role will be integral in providing holistic, patient-centred care. Working alongside many highly skilled clinicians and motivated administrative team members, you’ll be part of a committed, collaborative multidisciplinary team.
This Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service offers:
1:1 nurse to practitioner ratio
Allied health and specialist services onsite/easily accessible within the network and priority referral pathways

Salary package includes:
4 weeks of annual leave per year (including 17.5% leave loading)
10 days personal leave per year

About You:

Bachelor of Medicine
Current MBBS and unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia
Current APHRA registration
Current indemnity insurance
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, or a genuine interest in expanding your skills, knowledge and capability to work in our sector.
