Practice information:

The practice e is looking for an energetic and passionate Medical Practitioner to join their busy Mackay Clinic on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will take over a very interesting, rewarding and established clinical practice along with the superb financial returns and great lifestyle. The new medical practitioner will enjoy:

This role will provide exposure to all aspects of general practice and occupational health medicine including:
* Occupational Health Employment medical assessments
* Specialised Medical assessments
* Manage leading professional teams and athletes
* Acute injury treatment and management
* Liaison with company representatives and site medical assessments
* Family medicine
* Men's health
* Women's health
* Immunisations
* Skin screening
* Chronic disease management and minor surgery
* Travel Medicine.

After Hours requirements:

Some sports events are on the weekends, but they are infrequent.
After hours cover for the clinic in house or for the house calls service is optional for extra earnings.

Candidate profile:

The practice is looking for General Practitioners who provide quality care with the prospect of earning excellent incomes. There are significant volumes of work relating to Occupational assessment and injuries, sports medicine, rehabilitation as well as usual GP services.
As this is an Occupational Health training post, it is possible to progress to OH Physician status in this role.

Vocational registration is preferred but not essential.

Efficient practice systems and the staff are in place to assist the doctors to provide the highest quality of chronic care with the most efficient use of their time. There is also a fully functional rehabilitation gym for use with the injured clients and the EPs and physics.
This position has DPA status and we provide support and training to assist doctors to progress through to FRACGP status if required.
