Practice Information:
The practice was established over 25 years ago. It is a beautiful purpose-built practice and is a locally reputable and busy practice situated in the tropical Far North QLD town of Port Douglas. It is a thriving medical practice committed to providing exceptional, holistic healthcare to community and the surrounding region. Their team of dedicated healthcare professionals are passionate about delivering the highest standards of care, while fostering a warm and welcoming environment for all our patients.
Their QPA accredited bulk billing practice is built within a peaceful setting with winding timber decks that lead you through their beautifully manicured tropical gardens to separate private pavilion offices. It was designed to give their patients the feeling of peace and relaxation in nature.
Their practice is extremely unique and staffed with two long-term doctors that specialise in many areas that use both conventional and complimentary medicines benefiting their patients in their diverse community. They have GP's practicing in Japanese Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Nutrition, Gut Health & Allergies, Medicinal Cannabis, Skin Cancers & Minor Procedures.
They are also extremely fortunate to have a Nurse Practitioner/Midwife, a Registered Nurse and a Medical Assistant who support the surgery extensively. Their administration staff consists of a full time Practice Manager who has supported them for 14years with two experienced long-term Receptionists that keep their day well managed whilst keeping their GPs busy and well looked after.
Position Description:
The practice are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Practitioner to join their team in their vibrant and laid-back coastal town. They are extremely flexible and offer a full-time or part-time role with a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of their local community.

Position Requirements:
Fully registered and qualified General Practitioner with a minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience. (No capability to have GPs who require Supervision).
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build trust and rapport with patients
Proficiency in utilising electronic medical record systems and technology to support efficient and effective patient care
A genuine passion for community health and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our patients
A willingness to work alongside their GPs with their experience in a more complimentary way of practice.
