Practice Information:
An established community centre with a large patient base
Registered for the Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program, from November 1st 2025
Six consult rooms, two treatment rooms, and a nursing station

Position Description:
Located in the lush tropical surrounds of Cairns, this medical centre serves the wider community and tablelands as an unofficial ANE (ruralist emergency medicine) centre. Working closely with Queensland Health, the practice focuses on chronic disease management, social and emotional wellbeing, and Indigenous health. As a GP, you’ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse population. You will join a dedicated team of doctors committed to rural medicine and community impact, supported by experienced nurses and reception staff.

The centre is located in Kuranda, a picturesque village in the World Heritage-listed tropical rainforest of the Atherton Tableland, located just 25 kilometres northwest of Cairns, Queensland, Australia.
