To be considered for this position, candidates must have had their Covid-19 Booster (3rd Dose) prior to the interview stage
Current unrestricted General or VR AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a medical practitioner in a general practice / primary health care setting (including post-graduate training)
Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes
Desirable, but not mandatory:
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
Knowledge of Aboriginal social and cultural history and the impacts of social determinants on health outcomes for Aboriginal clients
Salary Information: Negotiable (based on experience & qualifications)
Ipswich is located in South East Queensland of Australia. To the east is the capital city Brisbane, and to the west are the rural and agricultural areas of the Brisbane, Lockyer and Fassifern Valleys. The city is ideally positioned on the national road network – approximately 40 minutes drive from Brisbane, one hour drive from the Gold Coast and 60 minutes drive from domestic and international air and seaports. Ipswich has a population of 180,000 people; enjoys a subtropical climate and is a safe, friendly and multicultural city.
