Practice Information: The practice was opened in the beginning of February 1992. The Practice moved to the current premises in September 1995.
The practice is located within a well-established, large shopping centre. The practice is conveniently situated adjacent to Caneland Dental & the post office and close to 2 pharmacies within Caneland Central. The practice consists of 7 doctors, in addition to 1 GP registrars. Support staff include a practice manager, 1 senior receptionist, 4 receptionists, and 4 registered nurses.
The doctors are mainly focused on family health issues, but special interests include women’s and children's health, preventative health, skin cancer checks, sports medicine, musculoskeletal injuries, & travel health.
The practice’s health record system is fully computerised using Medical Director, which integrates with Pracsoft used by the reception staff. The practice also uses Outlook Express for internal and external messaging and Hotdoc program for appointments, recalls and reminders. We are a mixed billing practice.

After Hours: After hours is provided by the local Mater Emergency Care Centre, Dial a Home Doctor services, in addition to the Mackay Base Hospital.
