The package will include an allowance for flying training for those interested in being future pilots or flying currency budget for current pilots. A DWS position is available for clinicians interested in weekend-only work in Townsville or in the outreach clinics that fly out of Townsville.
Position Details
Applicants must have AHPRA registration and we are happy to teach and support doctors on the independent pathway or practice eligible pathway. Fellowship of either college preferred. Part time applicants encouraged, hours are flexible and the practice culture is supportive of evidence based medicine and a collegiate care.
After Hours
The practice is open six days and does cover nursing home patients but there are no after-hours on call requirements. The ideal candidate would contribute to the 6 day roster and we would also be interested in hearing from GPs who would like a (DWS) weekend only or outreach roster.
