General Practitioner - Ravenshoe, Queensland.

Employment Type:  Permanent – Full-Time (40 hours per week).

Practice Information:
This small group general practice located in Ravenshoe is located in the main street of Ravenshoe in new purpose-built premises. This is one of two general practices with the second located in Herberton. They are actively recruiting additional GPs. Outreach clinics are provided on a weekly basis to the community of Mt Garnet. Their mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness. This Practice is committed to promoting health, wellbeing and disease prevention to all patients. This Practice does not discriminate in the provision of excellent care and aim to treat all patients with dignity and respect.

Position Description: 
Provide medical services to the community, including paediatric and aged care. They focus on Chronic Disease Management, and welcome Doctors who have any special interests such as skin excisions, women's health, etc. There is no after hours or on call work, and no weekend work.

Position Requirements:

• Must be registered with AHPRA. 

• Will consider a non-VR or a Doctor on a training pathway. 

• General Practice experience is required.

After Hours Requirements:  No

About Ravenshoe: 
Ravenshoe is a delightful town in the Atherton Tablelands also servicing the towns of Herberton and Mount Garnet. The beautiful area has numerous walking trails and beautiful falls to visit. There are numerous niche coffee shops in the region. Atherton is 52 km, Millaa Millaa is 30km and Cairns about 120 km away. Ravenshoe has a very pleasant climate and does not get the humidity of Cairns.
