General Practitioner - RVTS Registrar - Dysart, Queensland.

Employment Type: Permanent – Full-Time.
Practice information:
This solo practice has one Doctor presently, One RN and 2 EN that job shared, there is no pathological service, the courier takes the blood from the medical centre and the hospital on Mon-Fri by 2pm.
There is a Mental health team that comes once a week to Dysart.
The Allied health team are based at the hospital-Physiotherapy-Twice a week, social worker and OT once a week
The Medical centre is a mixed billing practice-Bulk billing those with senior and concession cards. All other patients are privately bill.
Qualifications & Experience:
AHPRA registration with 2 years Australian Medical system experience
interested in Rural medical practice and Emergency
After Hours requirements:
The medical centre covers the hospital 24/7

About Dysart:
Dysart is a Mining Town of 3000 permanent residents and about 2500 FIFO/DIDO. Dysart is service by the medical Centre and the local hospital. It is currently serviced by one Doctor who is having VMO right and attending to all the emergencies at the Hospital
There are 2 footy fields, a town swimming pool, Gym and a Civic centre.
There are 2 lovely motels and a Bowls club.
Dysart is a mining town with the average age in the 20"s more men than women. Very few over 65yrs in Towns
