Practice Information:
Their modern practice boasts 10 consulting rooms, a 2-bay treatment room and a nurse's room. The practice currently has 3 full time GP's and visiting Locums, Practice Business Manager, 2 Registered Nurses, 1 Enrolled Nurse, and 6 supporting administrative staff as well as an on-site Counsellor among an array of visiting specialists. This large, well-appointed community practice offers a variety of services to patients and focuses on holistic patient care. They host other visiting health professionals such as psychologists, diabetes educators, allied health and Legal Services. Pathology services are based on site. Our clinic is a mixed billing clinic.

Considered a hidden gem among many of its residents, Blackwater is situated approximately 2 hours west of Rockhampton and approximately 45 minutes drive from Emerald. Position Description:
This practice is seeking applications from newly graduated Registered Nurses to join their supportive and busy practice in Blackwater, two hours west of Rockhampton. Nurses who are pro-active and show initiative, with a passion and keen interest in rural and remote medicine, who pride themselves on exceptional community patient care and who are looking for a secure graduate position with the option to continue in a longer-term role in a rural setting with incredible clinical development opportunities will enjoy this varied role.
No two days are the same and while there are no night shifts or on-call hours, the role requires flexibility within the clinical team, the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively both internally and externally to achieve quality outcomes for patients and stakeholders. This role gives new graduates an ideal platform to transition from academic learning to professional practice, at a primary level.

Qualifications and Experience:
Current AHPRA Registration essential
Authorisation to work in Australia
Drivers Licence
Current and up to date First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain
Willingness to learn
Keen interest in or passion for rural and remote medicine
Willing to relocate (if applicable) and to commit to the role
