This organisation has a fantastic opportunity for a graduate Speech Pathologist to join their team in Mount Isa, on a full-time basis, working predominately with a paediatric caseload.
Working as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessments and tailoring/implementing custom programs for your clients within Mount Isa and neighbouring communities to treat and manage speech, language, learning and communication disorders.
Your day to day duties will include, but will not be limited to:
To join the team, you must hold a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or be in your final year of studies, and current registration with Speech Pathology Australia, the national peak body, or eligibility to obtain.
Whilst practical experience isn't essential, you will need to bring with you a genuine desire to learn - from your team, external mentors, and the communities themselves. The staff come from across Australia, and include a wide range of ages, skills, and specialisations, so you'll be learning from the best!
With fantastic training and mentoring structures in place, this organisation is an ideal environment for any graduate to learn and expand on their skill set, and as such is open to applications from both current Speech Pathologists or students in their final year of studies, who are looking for a role to step into after graduation.
Please note: A current, unrestricted C class Australian Driver's Licence and the willingness to consent to a criminal record check prior to commencement is essential to being considered.
