Job Title: Lead Registered Nurse in General Practice – Mackay, Queensland.
Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time.

Position Description:
This practice is seeking an experienced General Practice Registered Nurse Lead to join the dynamic team in Mackay, Queensland. As a full-time General Practice Registered Nurse Lead, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the overall operations of our medical practice.
What you'll be doing:
Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including conducting physical examinations, administering medications, and assisting with minor medical procedures
Coordinating and managing the nursing team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of patient care
Developing and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain the highest standards of clinical practice
Collaborating with doctors, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Participating in the training and development of nursing staff, including providing mentorship and guidance
Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the practice's nursing services
What we're looking for:
Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a general practice or similar primary care setting
Strong clinical skills and a demonstrated commitment to evidence-based nursing practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a nursing team
Familiarity with nursing informatics and the use of electronic medical records
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask A passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years experience in an Australian General Practice preferred
Current AHPRA registration
Current First Aid & CPR certification

Salary Information:
$40-$50 per hour.
