Practice Information:
Joining our newly established and fast-growing Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS), you will form part of a small team of health professionals providing health services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and their families. Friendly, passionate & experienced team inclusive of 2 x GPs, RNs, AHW, Practice Manager and administrative support. Bulk billing and within the operational framework of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander community-controlled health service, the General Practitioner will work closely with the Senior GP and Practice Manager to offer high quality services and foster a culture of organisational reflection and continuous quality improvement.

Position Description:
High level understanding of the health, social and emotional wellbeing needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in rural, regional and urban settings is desirable.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Specialist GP recognition/vocational registration MBBS

• Unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia AHPRA

• Registration (unrestricted)

• Minimum three years’ post graduate experience in a primary care setting or similar

• Eligibility to obtain provider number/s in the required location/s

Salary Information: Daily Rate - $1,000 - $1,500
