Position Description: 
The organisation is seeking a passionate Mental Health Practitioner to join their small, supportive team in Dalby or Goondiwindi. Your day-to-day will include:

• Delivering tailored therapy sessions for a range of mental health concerns 

• Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed 

• Collaborating with other professionals and referring clients to additional services

• Managing clinical risk with care and professionalism 

Position Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification and professional registration (e.g. AHPRA or AASW)

• You want to make a difference. You’ll be the person who helps clients feel seen, heard, and supported.

• A genuine passion for helping vulnerable and marginalised communities 

• Skilled in assessments, evidence-based treatment planning, and risk management, you’re committed to ethical, client-centred care 

• Thrive in a team environment but are comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule

• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and LGBTIQ individuals is highly regarded 

• A current Australian driver’s licence 

• Local knowledge of services will help you hit the ground running In this role, you’ll deliver brief, evidence-based psychological interventions - up to 10 sessions per client - focused on recovery, resilience, and wellbeing.
