New Graduate Mobile Occupational Therapist - Toowoomba, Queensland.
Employment Type: Permanent – Full-Time.

This practice was established in 2019 with a strong vision to make a change in the allied health space and really focus on client advocacy. Too often people get treated like a number, including the therapists and their voice is not heard. That’s where this service comes in, as they want the clients to be the hero in their own journey and feel empowered, whilst knowing they have guidance and support along the way. At the end of the day, it’s their journey, their way and this practice is supporting them to realise their success!
About the Role:
Join this innovative and supportive allied health team as a New Graduate Occupational Therapist working in a mobile, community-based setting. You’ll be supported every step of the way as you build your skills and confidence across a diverse caseload of clients, including children and adults, working in a mobile/community setting across homes, schools, the community, and supported accommodation environments. This is your chance to build a strong clinical foundation, explore different areas of OT, and be mentored by a team that genuinely values your growth.

Services You Will be Providing:
Therapy planning and intervention delivery for adults and children
Assistive Technology (AT) trials and prescription
Minor home modifications
Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments and reporting
Housing & Living SDA/SIL assessments and reporting
Goal setting and outcome tracking
Mental health and psychosocial support interventions
Telehealth consultants to assist rural populations
About You:
You are someone who:
Effective communication

Has experience with or strong interest in the NDIS and Aged Care systems
Enjoys community work and apricate the down time while out on the road
Is detail-oriented and takes pride in advocating for clients through reports

Are open to supporting, training and development of new team members
Position Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Full AHPRA registration + insurance
Own car and current driver’s license
CPR/ First aid (or willingness to obtain)
Current police check (or willingness to obtain)
COVID vaccinations (up to date)
Eligible to work permanently in Australia
Renumeration Information:
$65,000 – $75,000 per annum
1 additional paid day per year
