This small multidisciplinary practice is celebrating its second birthday. The company was developed by its two directors who have a background in rural and remote healthcare. Position Description:
Assessment and therapy for paediatric clients 0-18yrs (opportunities to work with adults or specific age groups is available upon discussion).
Delivery of session in homes, schools, kindergartens, daycares, and our clinic room.
Potential for outreach day trips to rural towns if desired.
Building and maintenance of professional relationships with key stakeholders, referral networks, families and educators.
Clinical documentation and reporting for NDIS, Medicare and Private paying clients.
Participation in community events e.g group therapy, information and educational seminars, and presentations at kindergartens and playgroups.
Participation in weekly supervision, multidisciplinary team meetings, team based learning and external professional development which is funded by the company.
Position Requirements:
This practice is looking to expand their team of like-minded, driven and passionate individuals. Position requirements are as follows:
A New Graduate or experienced clinician
Holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology, a current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership, Blue Card, professional indemnity insurance and drivers license (don’t worry, we will supply you with a car!)
Has experience or is wanting to learn more about orofacial myology, feeding and speech sound disorders.
Enjoys playing games with children and making therapy fun!
Is driven and eager to grow and learn. Is approachable and wanting to empower clients and their loved ones.
Reliable and has excellent interpersonal skills needed to work effectively with their team of OT’s, Speechies, AHA’s and administration.
Enjoys working both independently and with a team.
