Podiatrist – Experienced or New Grad – Mount Isa, Queensland

Position Description: 
The organisation is looking for a clinician who enjoys building connections, solving problems, and making a difference, has a passion for community-focused healthcare, an interest in chronic disease management and preventative care, strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

In this role, you will: 

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of podiatric conditions 

• Deliver diabetic foot care and manage chronic health conditions including rheumatoid arthritis and peripheral vascular disease

• Provide education that empowers clients to take control of their health

• Collaborate with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, and support services

• Travel to surrounding communities to deliver outreach services and improve access to care

 Essential Position Requirements:

• Current registration with AHPRA (or eligibility to obtain registration)

• Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent qualification

• A relevant Podiatry qualification

• Current unrestricted Australian C Class Driver's Licence

• Full Australian working rights
