The Podiatrist will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team to promote person centred and goal focused approaches to the provision of integrated primary and corporate health services.
This role is diverse and ever changing so you need to be flexible, self-motivated and autonomous. We work across a variable case load including outreach allied health, private health clients, My Aged Care, NDIS, DVA and programs to support health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
For this position, you will need to be prepared to travel (within a short drive from travel with company vehicle) to places such as Ingham, Ayr, Bowen, Burdekin, Charters Towers and Cardwell.
We are looking for a practitioner who has:
Minimum Tertiary Degree (or equivalent) qualification in Podiatry from a recognised tertiary institution
Current registration or eligibility for registration with the AHPRA.
Competent level of knowledge, expertise and skills in contemporary clinical practice in outreach Podiatry and public health.
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team within a flexible, creative, reflective and collaborative work environment.
Be self-directed as you will be the sole Podiatrist in the team.
You will be a part of a friendly multi-disciplinary team who enjoy a professional but relaxed work environment which allows us to meet our participants needs in a holistic manner.
