Practice Nurse – Part-Time - Rosewood, Queensland.
Employment Type: Permanent – Part-Time.
Practice Information:
This practice has been a part of the community since 1978. It has now grown to 7 GPs, with a mix of both full time and part time. The practice is supported by 2 practice nurses, 4 admin staff, onsite pathology, and a visiting dietician. The clinic is mixed billing and provides a range or services including: Family medicine, Prevention & Wellness, Immunization, Travel advice, Minor Procedures, Commercial Drivers license, Chronic Disease Management, Family Planning, Counselling for depression, anxiety and work stress, Weight Management, Pre-employment medical checks, Infusions, and Health Assessments.
Position Description:
This position would suit a nurse who has a high level of clinical skill, knowledge, and a keen interest in chronic disease management. They are a small team committed to providing a patient focused experience.

Duties include (but not limited) to:
Wound care
Immunisation (including children)
ECG’s
Procedure Assistance
Iron infusions, Venesections
Record keeping in Medical Director
Various Health Assessments and Careplan contribution
CVC collaboration
Quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience:
Current AHPRA registration
After Hours Requirements: No
Salary Information:
$29-$38 per hour.
About Rosewood:
Rosewood is home to the local Drakes supermarket, a newsagent, post office, hairdresser, both primary and secondary schools, a butcher, a library and various specialty stores. Public transport is available with a train station located within a quick 2-minute walk.
