Registered Nurse - Rockhampton, Queensland.
Employment Type:
Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time, depending on candidate, skill set and availability.
Practice Information:
This practice has been caring for the Rockhampton community since 1959. They are a large friendly, family orientated private General Medical practice that aims to provide the highest standard of patient care incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness. They are located centrally in Rockhampton city centre and boast modern facilities and offer a wide range of general medical and specialised services.
Position Description:
In this role, you will be expected to work both autonomously and collaboratively to deliver great patient care. Duties will include all aspects of General Practice nursing including (but not limited to):
Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
Immunisations: including childhood, employment, travel, and COVID-19 vaccinations
Wound care
Patient triage
Sterilisation and infection control implementation
Diagnostics required for Employment and Aviation Medicals
General Treatment room duties
Cold Chain management
Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate:
Holds AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Is passionate about patient care
Is available to be rostered between the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday - some flexibility can be accommodated
Has GP nursing experience
Has experience working with GP Chronic Condition Management Plans and Health Assessments
Holds a current CPR certificate - although assistance can be offered here if it has recently expired.
After Hours Requirements: No
Salary Information:
$38 - $45 per hour + superannuation.
