Practice Information:
This family medical centre is a bulk-billing teaching practice in need of a VR General Practitioner. There is an option of supporting Registrars should you be interested in taking on supervision responsibilities. The practice based on Bribie Island (just 1 hour north of Brisbane) is open Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm and on Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm (noon). Currently supporting seven (7) General Practitioners, the practice is a busy medical centre staffed with an experienced team of receptionists and nurses. The practice also has an on-site pathology collection centre and is further supported with allied health professionals.

Position Description: 
Vocationally Registered General Practitioner wanted to support a busy medical centre that provides a number of teaching options. 

• Mixed billing practice with strong patient numbers

• Variety of patient cases - skin checks, vaccines, CDM and health prevention presentations are popular

• Well-appointed consultation and treatment rooms with modern facilities and quality equipment

• Reliable Practice Software – Best Practice, Cubiko and HotDoc 

Position Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration with FRACGP or equivalent

• Option to supervise GPs – ideally already an accredited supervisor (however all interested in becoming a supervisor will be considered)

• DPA location – Doctor within their 10-year moratorium may be considered

• Active participation in Professional Development

• Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
