We released our 2020-2021 Annual Report last week, a bumper 64-page publication with beautiful imagery throughout. The winning image from our Annual Report Photo Competition is the stunning cover image taken by mother-daughter duo Sarah and Lucy Jenkins of Port Douglas. Sarah and Lucy have recently started their own drone photography business called Air Bare and with beautiful Tropical North Queensland as their canvas they are off to a "flying" start. The image was taken in Barrine in the Atherton Tablelands on their friend's property, a couple who are both registered nurses. What a stunning spot to live and work. Sarah and Lucy have won a $200 voucher for this gorgeous image and were thrilled to learn of the news that they had won.
There were six runners-up in the competition whose images feature within the report and we say a big congratulations to Samantha Messmer, Kerry LeBoutillier, Jessica Taylor, Janelle Hultgren, Laura Borchert and Cheryl Rogers. The images showcase such a diverse landscape and community that is remote and rural Queensland.
