Every year, Health Workforce Queensland undertakes a Health Workforce Needs Assessment (HWNA) for primary care practitioners and managers in remote, rural and regional Queensland. This is open to those servicing MM 2-7 locations or those employed by MM1 practices with DPA status. This state-wide assessment helps us understand the short-, medium-, and long-term challenges affecting primary healthcare, and work with the Primary Health Networks and other stakeholders to develop sustainable solutions for Queensland remote and rural communities.
