Practice Information:
This hospital has an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated Breast Physician to work within their Diagnostic Breast Clinic. Breast Physicians are key to the clinic’s patient-focused approach and work as part of a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, surgeons, pathologists, oncologists, imaging staff, nurses, and administration staff.They have a progressive 154 bed private not-for-profit stand-alone facility located in Toowoomba.

Position Description:

• Perform clinical consultations and breast examinations.

• Correlate clinical and imaging findings with the radiologist.

• Correlate, in conjunction with radiologists and pathologists, the results of patient history, examination, imaging and cytological and histological examinations.

• Give results to patients and support to those with suspicious or malignant results.

• Liaise with referring doctors and surgeons regarding on-going patient management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners

• Current unconditional AHPRA registration

• Commitment to working effectively within a multidisciplinary team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven ability to effectively organise workloads.
