Position Description:
Part time/full time/casual
- Work within a team delivery therapeutic Counselling/Psychology services;
- Undertake initial assessment of referred consumers;
- Delivery evidence based therapeutic interventions; and
- Collaborate with other professionals and services.
Qualifications and Experience:
Counsellor
- Minimum Diploma Level Qualified;
- Must have demonstrate minimum 3 years experience in delivering therapeutic interventions for young people between ages of 0-15.
- Must have demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers;
- Must be willing to work with trauma and grief and loss related presentations; and
- Must be able to demonstrate previous records of supervision and ongoing professional development.
- Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA);
- Must be able to demonstrate minimum 3 years experience in delivering evidence based therapeutic interventions for young people ages between 0-15;
- Must have demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers; and
- Must be willing to work with trauma and grief and loss related presentations.
