Position Description:
Provide comprehensive medical care to individuals, families and community, initial consultation and follow up on simple to complex health conditions and issues. Provide a range of health services; including prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. The position requires consultation with other professionals internally (e.g. Nurse) and externally (e.g. Specialist) as required, with coordination and ongoing care relating back to the General Practitioner. This role includes liaising with other health professionals - colleagues, specialists, nurses. General/child health checks, insurance/employment medicals, immunisation etc. You will participate in ongoing education and participate in health promotion.
