Due to the increase in services and demand for youth mental health supports, this organisation has an opportunity for you to join their Youth Mental Health clinical teams, in two locations, Rockhampton or Gladstone as a Mental Health Clinicians.

- You will be part of a multidisciplinary Recovery-Oriented Mental Health Team
You will:- Conduct psychosocial assessments, mental health assessments and risk assessments.
- Provide therapeutic and psychosocial services in accordance Clinical Governance and evidence-based best practice.
- Provide peer support and mentoring to colleagues and students working within the service.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, both internally and externally to our service to provide recovery-oriented supports.
Essential:- Approved tertiary qualifications in Mental Health Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counselling/Allied Health fields or extensive experience in a relevant field.
- Current registration or eligibility to register with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Australian Social Workers Association - as Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), or relevant regulatory body.
- Demonstrated experience in youth mental health care management, including therapeutic interventions, psychosocial support, recovery-oriented mental health practice, and have a broad understanding of the challenges and experiences of young people in Australia, including specific community factors.
- Evidence of training and experienced in relevant trauma informed practices and early childhood and adolescent development.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing work tasks and deliver to agreed deadlines.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and a demonstrated ability to work in a team within a diverse environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member.
