Occupational Therapist – New Grad or Experienced - Dalby, Queensland.
Employment Type: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time.
Practice Information:
This locally owned, multi-disciplinary allied health service is a practice of choice for many clients and referral partners due to their multidisciplinary focus and commitment to working with community partners to deliver the best outcomes for their clients.
Their current team is a mix of experienced and early career therapists, and they invite you to join the close-knit team– experiencing rewarding clinical practice, developing friendships and making real connections in the community.
You will be joining a team of five occupational therapists with extensive experience in the areas of paediatrics, disability, mental health and equipment prescription. There are also three supportive therapy assistants to assist in case-load management.
Position Description:
Provide quality OT assessment and management of clients, across varied clinical areas - work with paediatric, disability, aged care and chronic conditions. They have established group-based rehabilitation programs and work both in the clinic and community-based settings.
Complete comprehensive clinical reports to assist clients with funding applications and/or to assist with their integration into the school, care or work environment.
Work with clients across multiple funding streams, including NDIS, Aged Care, DVA, Private, Workcover and other insurance agencies.
There is an opportunity to streamline your area of interest as your caseload develops.
Work closely within established local networks, to assist clients in achieving their goals. This might include working with education services, medical professionals, equipment suppliers and builders.
Contribute to a culture of learning, innovation and excellence. Work alongside a team committed to interdisciplinary practice, with access to clinical leaders across the disciplines.
Participate in OT specific and whole of team clinical meetings to ensure that our OT services are integrated, holistic and evidence-based.
Engage in professional learning including internal and paid professional development opportunities.
Actively participate in comprehensive supervision, peer collaboration and multidisciplinary support. Early career therapists will access a comprehensive development pathway, including structured induction and learning program designed specifically for you. Therapists will be provided with education and guidance to ensure compliance with the multiple funding streams used in private practice.

Qualifications & Experience:
Have AHPRA registration (or eligibility for) and a Medicare Provider number.
Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Are Passionate about ongoing professional development.
Keen to experience diverse work in a rural community.
Experience in private practice is preferred but not mandatory.
Recently graduated or soon to be graduated Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply.
