Are you an experienced or recently accredited Mental Health Social Worker, interested in bringing your skills to the great Australian Outback?
This organisation is currently looking for a Mental Health Social Worker to join their team in Mount Isa on a full-time basis.
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality mental health assessment, treatment, and intervention services, as well as community education activities, to individuals in Mount Isa and neighbouring communities.
A true generalist role, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset whilst working with a broad range of clients, including children and adults, older persons, people with drug and alcohol issues and those affected by natural disasters.

The organisation is open to both experienced and recently qualified Social Workers, provided you are currently recognised, or in the final stages of being recognised, as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the AASW.
The organisation is seeking a dedicated individual who is culturally sensitive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and autonomously.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, you will have the strong communication skills needed to build effective relationships with a variety of clients, community members, and the wider team, based on mutual trust and respect.
Any additional experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds will be highly regarded, though not essential, provided you are comfortable treating and connecting with individuals from all walks of life.
