Position Description Permanent full-time position. Manage your own workflow. Flexible work arrangements available including 9-day fortnight or part time options. What you will do: Provide community-based speech pathology services to NDIS participants of all ages. Provide specialist knowledge and skills in an evidence-based contemporary allied health practice Manage your own workflow. Work with a degree of autonomy, take responsibility for outcomes and work effectively with other team members to resolve complex situations. Actively contribute to development of professional knowledge and skills in your field of expertise.
Supervision and support: Regular clinical supervision provided by eminent Queensland Speech Pathologist. The practice also provides regular workplace support and supervision in all aspects of the workload and highly values team support and work-life balance.
Qualifications and Experience What you need: An undergraduate or Masters degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia. Skills and knowledge in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and assistive technology. Understanding of assessment and treatment of swallowing disorders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to relate to all stakeholders with empathy, respect, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Be technology savvy. Hold a current valid Queensland driver’s license. Have own reliable, insured vehicle. Have an unblemished National Criminal History.
