Speech Pathologist – Paediatrics - Cairns, Queensland.
Employment Type: Permanent – Full-Time.
Practice Information:
This multidisciplinary private practice is operated out of a modern clinic and offers speech pathology, occupational therapy and early childhood intervention to children. They provide services to children under NDIS, Medicare and private referrals.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Providing best-practice assessment and speech pathology services to children
Writing assessment and progress reports
Liaising with families and other professionals
Maintaining and expanding your knowledge base
Sharing your knowledge with the rest of the team
Providing a mobile service to surrounding areas may apply and would attract a travel allowance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor of Speech Pathology or higher
Blue Card for Working with Children
Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status with Speech Pathology Australia
Eligibility to Obtain a Medicare Provider Number

Salary Information:
$86,000 - $119,000 per annum.
12% Superannuation
17.5% Annual Leave Loading

The practice is located in Redlynch, which is a suburb of Cairns. Cairns is quite a large regional town with most conveniences, including shopping, movies, night clubs and hospitals. It also has great appeal as a destination, due to its ease of access to the Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest and the Atherton Tablelands.
