This mixed billing practice offers strong earning potential, with a significant proportion of private billing services, including consultations for overseas visitors, occupational and pre-employment medicals, and other non-Medicare services. Position Description: 
The practice is seeking a Locum General Practitioner to provide high-quality primary healthcare services to patients during a temporary placement period. This role offers the opportunity to practice medicine in one of Australia’s most desirable coastal locations while working within a supportive and professional team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive general medical consultations to patients of all ages 

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions 

• Deliver preventative health care and health promotion 

• Perform minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice 

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records

•  Collaborate with practice nurses, administrative staff, and allied health providers 

• Ensure compliance with AHPRA standards, Medicare requirements, and clinical governance guidelines 

Essential Position Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner (General Registration or Specialist Registration) 

• FRACGP, FACRRM, or equivalent preferred 

• Eligibility to provide Medicare services in Australia 

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills 

• Excellent communication and patient care skills 

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
