This strategic plan describes the priority areas for Health Workforce Queensland for the next 5 years. These priorities will be implemented through operational activities, which are the responsibility of the Board, CEO and all agency staff to enact.
The strategies described are closely aligned with the current programs and services we deliver through our funding contracts. We acknowledge the Australian Government Department of Health for their continued funding of our workforce programs:
Rural Health Workforce Support Activity,
Health Workforce Scholarship Program, and
More Doctors for Rural Australia Support Package.
