Health Workforce Queensland recently sponsored one graduate and one student to complete the IAHA Leadership Program, a two-and-a-half-day workshop held in in March.

The IAHA Leadership Program supports participants to develop a greater understanding of leadership, cultural governance, compliance, and ethics, by creating opportunities and a willingness to confidently step forward with the knowledge and self-belief to address the multi-faceted challenges that such roles present.

This included engaging in a two day face-to-face residential, in March 2022 at Coffs Harbour NSW, that was facilitated by Scott Gorringe, Murrimatters Consulting, in partnership with IAHA leadership, and a series of online (interactive and pre-recorded) sessions.

Ms Sueanne Gola (above left), a psychologist based in Toowoomba and Ms Sharna Motlap (above right), a 3rd year nutrition student based in Mackay, were awarded the sponsorships. Congratulation Sueanne and Sharna, we are proud that we have been able to offer this support and will continue to do so in the future.
